1st October - Korcula, Croatia
We woke in time to watch the ship sail into Zadar from the bow of the ship. We were planning on doing a Titanic reenactment (Leo and Kate) but couldn’t get to the very front of the ship! It was quite chilly so we didn’t stay out too long.
We headed inside to the crows nest to get a coffee before breakfast as we planned to let all those with excursions leave first. After breakfast we set off to get the tender into the port. It was a quick journey from the ship to the dock.
The old town is surrounded by a large stone wall and the streets are laid out in a herringbone fashion to capture the cool breeze.
After wandering around the small alleyways we stopped into a restaurant with water views for a few drinks and some local food before heading back to the ship.
David and I had a wander around the upper decks after lunch and played corn hole and shuffle board. I won both which was amazing!
We all met up for pre dinner drinks in the Ocean bar before dinner in the main restaurant.
After dinner we watched an amazing couple play classical guitar together. Another great day.
